The group “Active Citizens” with one action has opposed the permission for the “Sunny Hill” festival to be held in the park of Gërmia.
“They have stated that the institutions are deliberately “killing” nature. “The organization of the “Sunny Hill” festival is a serious insult to the citizens of Pristina, since the Municipality of Pristina and other mandated institutions do almost nothing for the maintenance and substantive preservation of the Germia park, and now they are putting the “cherry on cake” by deliberately degrading nature and biodiversity. Purposefully and institutionally, nature is being killed!” said the group’s announcement.
“Active citizens” have also complained about the noise pollution and the damage caused to the animals whose habitat is the park of Germia.
This is how they asked the Ministry of Environment and the Municipality of Pristina to reflect against this damage as they say.
