The board has been reviewing the methodology of calculating the ceiling price for days, including the operating costs for companies at 15 ALL per liter, after the complaint of the operators that they are coming out with a loss.
“Most have a profit margin of 3 lekë while the minority has a profit of 12 lekë per liter. The request to set a fixed margin in lek came as a request from the majority and retail companies themselves. The Fuel Board will function until the end of the crisis. Currently, with his latest decision at gas stations since Friday, oil is sold for 219 lek, gasoline for 209 lek and gas is traded for 115 lek.
