The candidate for chairman of the Democratic Party in the Kukes branch, has chosen not to participate in the elections that are taking place this Sunday.
As a sign of solidarity, he decided not to participate, as his opponent, Irel Elezi withdrew this morning, just a few hours after the start of the voting process.
Admir Sinamati: I am a citizen of Kukes, when the application form for candidacies is completed, there is a special section. I have been a professional in forensic science for years as an academic and lecturer at the medical faculty. I sleep in Tirana, but my mind has been and will be connected with Kukës, and my bones will rest in Kukës. These claims are very stale and not worth commenting on. It is true that the list has problems, the removal of Lulzim Basha has stalemate processes related to not giving the full list and the PD page on fb. I was one of the candidates in the last elections, but Irel does not have to worries. I would have voted for him as a sign of citizenship, I will not participate as a sign of citizenship.
His opponent, Irel Elezi, resigned on the grounds that the process was irregular. According to him, there were manipulations in the race and in the lists.
The process is currently proceeding normally. There are almost 2,500 DP members in Kukës who are expected to vote.
