The house where the victim Valdete Mamaj lived with her murderous husband Petrit Mamaj is closed one day after the macabre act.
Her funeral will take place at her parents’ house in Levan, Fier. Neighbors comment positively on the couple as they have had no conflicts.
“It seemed good to me, but it is not that I know them well, we talked on the street, but we knew what was inside. “He did not drink because I told him from time to time.” said a neighbor.
“Our souls hurt, we did not hear at all, wonderful people, we know him as a good family, they came to us when we married our children, because we were surprised ourselves. We do not know if they had anything, we were shocked as a neighborhood “said two of the victim’s neighbors.
“They are hardworking people, they both worked, raised the toads, fed the toads. I went out to collect garbage, but I was inside the house because I was sick “said another neighbor.
