For the fourth day in a row, Greece records a record of infections.
In the last 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has gone to 35,580, of which 15,713 in the prefecture of Athens, 3,997 in Thessaloniki, 2,036 in Thessaly and 1,576 in Crete. About 3/4 of them belong to the Omicron variant. The average age of those infected is only 37 years.
The death toll has risen to 72, a total of 20,708 since the start of the pandemic, while 636 are intubated, of whom 85% are unvaccinated. The number of daily hospitalizations has reached 421 today.
