2864 Ukrainians were evacuated today from the conflict zones in Ukraine.
The number was confirmed by Ukraine’s deputy prime minister, who said a total of 363 people from Mariupol were involved, who could be evacuated by private car, according to Sky News.
Evacuations were attempted from nine regions on Friday, including the southern port city of Berdiansk, Tokmak, Enerhodar and Sievierodonetsk.
Meanwhile, fighting has intensified in Kiev, the Kharkiv region and on the outskirts of Mariupol.
