Korça Poetry Nights comes in its 27th edition bringing together different generations of Albanian and foreign authors.
40 poets from all over the world have joined the event that will take place 2 nights in a row to compete.
For the organizers this is one of the most important activities dedicated to poetry in Korça, where the doors of poets are always open for those who live abroad or inside the country.
For some of the poets the Korça Poetry Nights are a return to memories and for others the place does not matter because of the guilt that poetry brings together
Dalila Hiaoui from Tunisia: It is my third time in Albania but the first in Korça. I feel at home. It seems that the cities of the world have come together to recite world poetry. The serenity here forgives and inspires you even more. I am honored to participate in this activity, we have to do many such events.
This edition, which started more than a quarter of a century ago by the famous poet Skënder Rusi, has brought together more than 40 poets from all over the world, and tonight will be the finale for the most beautiful poetry.
