Accidents on Albanian roads have become a public danger, with casualties, in many cases innocent.
Two of the largest international companies in Albania, Porsche Albania and Vodafone, come together to propose the initiative “Heroes at the wheel”, developed through the application “My Car”.
The aim of this initiative is to engage responsible drivers, to reduce accidents, in two simple steps: avoiding the use of the phone at the wheel and respecting the speed limit.
The original incentive that Porsche Albania offers to drivers is the reward with points and free internet for their behavior. Through tracking the movement of the car and using the phone, the application “My Car” evaluates the kilometers traveled responsibly and in relation to those kilometers, rewards are also offered.
“The accident situation requires everyone to play a role, which will reduce the lives lost. It is this great reward that makes us all Heroes and the superpower we are required to face this problem is simply to be focused while driving. ”
The initiative which has just been launched has thus set up the first community of Heroes, part of which anyone can become a part of and quite quickly, by downloading the Porsche Albania application “My Car”.
For anyone who wants to learn more about the initiative, Porsche Albania provides everything on the website dedicated to the application: https://makinaime.app/heronj-ne-timon/
