The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received the President of the Democratic Union for Integration, Ali Ahmeti and a delegation of ministers of the Government of Northern Macedonia.
The delegation consisted of Artan Grubi, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia and Minister of Political System, Bujar Osmani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fatmir Besimi, Minister of Finance, Kreshnik Bekteshi, Minister of Economy, Jeton Shaqiri, Minister of Education and Science, Naser Nuredini, Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning and Ejup Rrustemi, Director of the Public Enterprise for State Roads.
The meeting discussed the management of the pandemic situation, the situation in health institutions and the possibility of easing the measures.
The agreements reached at the joint meeting of the two governments held in September last year, were another topic of the meeting, and in particular the agreement on the Tetovo-Prizren road.
European integration and good neighborly relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Northern Macedonia were discussed.
Regarding the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process, it was stressed that it should end with mutual recognition between the two countries, which would contribute to maintaining peace and long-term stability in the region.
In the meeting that ended with a friendly dinner, Prime Minister Kurti was accompanied by the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, the Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu, the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj and the Chief of Staff, Luan Dalipi.
