The court of Lezha has left in prison the 17-year-old who executed with a pistol Ndue Lekgjonaj in Manati of Lezha on January 24, taking revenge for the murdered father.
The hearing was chaired by Judge Artan Hajredinaj, prosecutor Sabri Kastrati, while the defense lawyer was Andi Duraj.
Upon hearing the news, dozens of family members waiting outside for a positive response burst into tears.
According to the lawyer, the decision is fair by the court as serious offenses weigh on him regardless of the age of the minor. He will now be transferred to a special institute in Kavaja.
The juvenile hit the victim several times with a pistol, leaving him dead on the spot. After the act, the 17-year-old surrendered to the police station together with the weapon with which he committed the crime.
The police immediately searched the apartment of the perpetrator, where another weapon, a type of artisanal rifle, was found.
The starting point of the conflicts between the two families is 2009 due to ownership reasons where Leka’s brother, Ndue Lekgjonaj killed the father of the author of the event.
Gjon Pervathi was the victim of a Kalashnikov assassination 13 years ago. He was moving on the old road that sends you to Milot together with his son Daniel and cousin Gjergji, where the latter were also injured.
A few days after the crime, Ndue Lekgjonaj turned himself in to the police, where he admitted the authorship of the crime. Conflicts between the two families continued, with history repeating itself.
Sources close to the family suggest that the Lekgjonaj family had been forgiven for their blood and were not afraid of any possible revenge.
