Today is the second day that citizens protest in front of the Prime Minister for price increases. Dozens of protesters have gathered to demand the removal of the oil tax in order to lower the prices of other products.
Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that at 18:30 he will be live on Facebook to communicate with followers, but the protesters want him to talk to them because they are there.
“It can not be communicated live from Facebook. Here we are all. I invite everyone to participate and become interlocutors with each other here and to expose all the misery. “All those citizens who feel that they have to show their revolt, to feel united today is the only way.” said one activist.
Meanwhile, parallel protests are taking place in other cities of Albania.
