Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha in a communication to the media after the violent protest that took place at the blue headquarters said that the battle is not for an office but to protect political pluralism in the country.
“Violence and police terror unprecedented in the history of protests. Today it was simply and conclusively proven that Lulzim Brava is in an alliance of crime, gas, violence against Democrats and PD with Edi Rama hostage. The truth is that the grand protest was entirely peaceful. The protest had the task of opening the doors armored by Edi Rama with his hostage Lulzim Basha. 12 demonstrators are in hospitals, detained without any motive, young people caught on the street for the sole guilt of participating in the protest. Despite these actions of a real traitor who today brought out more of his face. I guarantee that the DP Provisional Re-establishment Commission will give you the answer as soon as possible. “We are not in a battle for an office, we are in a battle against an open hostile effort in defense of political pluralism in Albania,” Berisha said.
Berisha reiterated that the protests will continue by the Democrats to free the DP from the clutches of Basha taken hostage by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
“Albanians saw that there is finally a real opposition of theirs that is ready to face tooth by tooth from the worst regime since the time of Enver Hoxha. De facto Basha replaced the family coup, became the interior minister of Edi Rama with the attitude towards the Democrats. I fully and firmly stand by the peaceful character of our protest. We will be in protest and only protests “, he said.
The former leader of the Democratic Party stressed that no one will save Basha from the Democrats even if he gets into the mouse hole.
“Even the mouse hole does not save Lulzim Basha from the opposition people. Today a lot was achieved, what Lulzim Basha represents for you, Lulzim is a miserable tool of Edi Rama, this day will remain in the memory of Albanians. It is indisputable that there are killers there, that there are wanted people there is very evident, they are even in the pictures that show it “, said Berisha.
