Russian President Vladimir Putin met today with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Russia.
Pictures from their meeting have been published as the Kremlin reported earlier that the two leaders planned to discuss current issues of bilateral relations, as well as measures to restore economic and transport ties in the region.
The Armenian side also expects a possible peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan to be at the center of the meeting’s agenda.
During his two-day official visit, Pashinyan will also meet with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin.
The scenes come just a week after Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko met and visited the Vostochny cosmodrome in Russia’s far east.
