Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal says the cost of rebuilding his country could reach $750 billion and Russia should foot the bill.
“We believe that the main source of recovery should be the confiscated assets of Russia and Russian oligarchs,” he said, adding that the seized Russian assets were worth 300-500 billion dollars.
“The Russian authorities started this bloody war. They caused this massive destruction and they must be held accountable for it.” he added.
After his statement, British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said that Russia should be held accountable for the damage caused to Ukraine.
