With the motto “Let ‘s listen to each other”, Prime Minister Edi Rama started on Wednesday afternoon the public communication with the citizens. Through this communication on the social network Facebook, Rama introduced the citizens with the form of the First Public Council.
The Albanian Prime Minister indicated that every citizen over 18 years of age will fill out the form with the aim of helping to resolve these topics.
“The idea is for these forms to be filled out mainly by older and younger people, to fill it out online or at points where national counseling opens“, He said.
He said that a key issue that will be worked on is the “tightening” of the insurance scheme, in order for everyone to contribute.
“Tighten the insurance scheme, so that everyone contributes, not that some hide money to avoid taxes and social contributions“, Said Rama.
According to him, this initiative comes even after the scandal of publishing salaries, where it was noticed that a good part had not declared the full salary of their employees.
Among other things, Prime Minister Rama shared the news that today over a thousand infected with Covid-19 have been registered, emphasizing that this high figure has come due to the holidays and the complete lack of austerity measures, but also the new Omicron variant.
Asked by the public about the energy crisis of Kosovo and Albania, he said that “Albania is succeeding” in facing the energy crisis.
But according to him, “without letting it slide to citizens or businesses.”
“This confrontation has a cost”, said Rama, continuing with the justification for the energy crisis.
