Today, Sali Berisha has made the coalition with the Socialist Movement for Integration a fact for the March 6 elections. The coalition is called the “House of Freedom”, while other parties are expected to join this coalition.
This was confirmed in Top Talk by the member of the PD Re-establishment Group, Arben Ristani, who said that talks are still ongoing with other parties.
Asked what is considered a victory and what a loss for this coalition in the March 6 elections, Ristani did not give an answer, but said that he would not be surprised by a possible withdrawal of PD leader Lulzim Basha from this election.
Ristani: I believe that we are very competitive and with many opportunities we can win in Shkodra, the same can be said for Dibra, Durres. Lushnja has a very good candidate.
Now Basha is an extreme minority, for me most likely there may be some attraction at some point. I say this from practice, from what has happened before, Basha has a problem coping. He has always avoided elections except for those moments when he did the shopping at the table as he was in 2017. He has no candidate to choose from, no one supports him, he is an extreme minority within us.
