One person was killed and 18 were injured in a rocket attack in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region.
The attack took place in an open market, according to firefighters, who gave first aid to the Ukrainians.
Earlier in the day, reports emerged that Russian forces had resumed attacks scattered in Kiev and western Ukraine, despite the Kremlin’s orientation towards a new offensive in the east.
Struck by the loss of its Black Sea ship and alleged Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory, the Russian military command warned the day before of a resumption of attacks in the Ukrainian capital stating that it had targeted military targets.
This was the second attack in the Kiev area in the last two days.
Meanwhile, the governor of the Lviv region in western Ukraine reported airstrikes in the area by Russian Su-35 jets that took off from neighboring Belarus.
