As Ukrainian officials arrived in Istanbul to talk to the Russians, the occupying forces on the ground used missiles to destroy their institutions in Ukraine.
A government building was shelled by Russians leaving 7 dead and 22 wounded.
President Zelensky was the first to condemn the attack:
“This morning Russian missiles hit one of our southern cities, Mikolaiv, a very peaceful city, which only dreams of taking its place as a center where ships are built on the Black Sea. As a result, the regional administration building was hit. “7 dead and 2 injured is the balance we have so far from the attack.”.
Vitaly Kim, the governor of Mikolaiv said that thankfully most people had been able to get out of the building before being attacked, as numerous sirens were heard in the city earlier.
“It was awful, they expected people to go to work to attack, I just survived because I slept a little more in the morning“, Said the head of Mikolaiv.
