Prime Minister Edi Rama revealed a message that came to him during the protest for the price increase, but a pensioner intervened, saying that in fact they should have sent it to Berisha and Meta.
In the conversation with pensioners about the Social Resistance package, the indexation of pensions and the compensation of the increase in basket prices, Rama stressed that the war brings trouble, hardship and hunger while Russia has high hopes for economic protests in NATO countries.
Rama: I found the message that came to my phone 2 days ago coming from abroad, which reads: We follow with concern the developments in Tirana, do you have information on who is behind these protests. It is legitimate to put pressure on the government to act to help the people. Albania is part of NATO, while NATO is de facto at war with Russia. War brings trouble, hardship and hunger. This with prices can only be the beginning. Russia has high hopes for economic protests across NATO countries.
Pensioners: They had sent it to Berisha and Meta, why should they send it to you.
