Russia’s Defense Ministry has denied the allegations in a statement issued Friday stating “Similar, baseless allegations concerning Russia’s intelligence have been made more than once.
CNN reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense in the latest media update, has not reported any casualties from the military conflict in Ukraine, but only the destruction of military equipment.
This was previously reported by the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense in Russia, Igor Konashenkov.
On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed that Ukrainian military forces have killed “hundreds” of Russian soldiers, without giving an exact figure, while admitting that there were casualties on their part.
In an official announcement, the Ukrainian Ministry of Health has announced that so far 198 people have been killed and 1,115 others injured in Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
As of Friday morning, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace has indicated that Russia had lost more than 450 people.
So far no independent institution has managed to make an accurate assessment of the situation created there and moreover to independently verify these figures.
