The same erroneous ideology, as he underlined, is pushing the Kremlin to prevent and slow down the Balkan Euro-Atlantic integration.
Escobar had a call for everyone in the region to hold Putin responsible for the invasion of Ukraine.
“As the humanitarian catastrophe unfolds in Ukraine, you have to ask yourself what Putin is ready to do elsewhere in the world, including in the Western Balkans.“, Was his comment.
Following the policy of the European Union, the Government of Montenegro has imposed sanctions against Russia on March 1, but has not yet taken the necessary decisions to implement them.
Thus, it has not yet decided to ban the Russian media, Russia Today and Sputnik, in Montenegro – while the European bloc has banned them since March 2.
