The director of the National Emergency, Skënder Brataj has debated with the doctor Artan Koni about the fact that the Albanian government has not tried to get vaccines from Russia and China.
In the show “Open”, Koni did not hesitate to mention the case of Serbia that received doses of vaccines and is continuing vaccination, while Brataj stressed that they are not authorized and there is no medical data for the Chinese or Russian vaccine.
Brataj: How is it that China and Russia have vaccinated 2.8% of their population.
Koni: We have not done any negotiations either.
Brataj: We do not have to do it because we know nothing about them. I want medical data, it has all the stages or not. The EMA and FDA deal with this. Do not discuss Serbia as being pro-Russian and taking everything from Russia.
