In some dramatic moments recorded by security cameras, a middle-aged Ukrainian couple is seen bravely expelling four Russian armed soldiers who entered their backyard during the patrol.
The footage reportedly comes from the village of Voznesensk, in Ukraine’s Mykolaiv Oblast, where soldiers are seen being evicted by unarmed homeowners.
After entering forcibly through the main gate, the trio of soldiers pass the weapons over their shoulders and begin to disperse. But soon in the yard comes out the middle-aged couple who angrily and waving their arms signal them to leave.
The man with the fallen hair shakes his arms towards the soldiers while the woman is really about to leave.
One of the soldiers raises his weapon in the air but the pair are determined not to intimidate by signaling to leave.
After some tense negotiations, the Russian soldiers lower their weapons and head for the exit.
The dog continues to bark at them as they leave and finally the elderly couple are left alone in the garden and close the door.
Russia has already landed in the strategic city of Mykolaiv, near the southern port of Odessa, as its troops surround the capital.
