Russian forces in Ukraine continue to inflict damage on the Ukrainian population even though they deny that they are dealing with loss of life and killing of people.
Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said that recently an evacuation column heading to the besieged city of Maripol had been returned by the Russian army.
“Despite their promises, the occupying forces do not allow anyone to go to Mariupol. The occupiers blocked the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Manhush. “They were released last night after negotiations and sent to Zaporizhia.” said Vereshchuk in a statement to the Telegram.
Vereshchuk said a total of seven humanitarian corridors were planned for Tuesday around Ukraine and that a convoy of seven buses was on its way from Manhush to Berdiansk.
Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boichenko said no evacuation buses had yet arrived in Mariupol, despite agreements between Russia and Ukraine to open humanitarian corridors.
