A very sad news has come for the sports community in Albania, as in the late hours of Wednesday, the president of Elbasan, Arben Laze, passed away at the age of 53.
The latter for several days was in a serious condition as a result of heart problems and unfortunately in the end did not manage to win the battle with life.
With president Lazen, Elbasan experienced a great joy as in the 2005-2006 season they celebrated the second title in history, while at the head of the team was coach Ilir Daja.
But, now an important part of the history of the yellow and blues is no more, however Laze will always be remembered for his contribution to Elbasan and for the sport in Albania.
