Environmentalist Sazan Guri has decided to engage in the race for the new head of state, but for this he needs votes from politics.
Invited today to “Top Talk”, Guri said that for balance, the president should not be from the ranks of the majority and therefore he is a reasonable candidate. He said that if Ilir Meta’s successor was elected by the people, then he would take over the presidency. According to him, Albania needs a president beyond politics.
Sazan Guri: It will not be the majority that will choose, it will be committed not like other elections but many times more open. For balance, he will not be a soldier of the majority. The proposal can be left to the right, or elected by the deputies. There may be candidates with more political approaches than me, that I have no direct access to either the right or the left. I come from a cheese that I betrayed, where I went to the center. I thought of serving the Albanian citizen more and I am committed there.
I have a chance that others do not. I have been a lecturer and I have been for 20 years and I do not look like others. In relation to the lek, the studies I do, I do 70% cheaper than the market.
