The director of the so-called Serbian Office for Kosovo, Petar Petkovic, said that Kosovo’s decision to impose reciprocal measures on ID cards and to cancel the validity of “KM” license plates after September 30, is a “direct blow to all Serbs”.
“It is unacceptable for the representatives of the international community to remain silent and claim that they are clumsy to this threat of conflict and revenge, while Albin Kurti prepares to start a major conflict and attack the Serbs at the end of September.” said Petkovic, according to Serbian media.
Meanwhile, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that there is a complete change in the situation in the Western Balkans.
“We are always ready for dialogue, while some others have never been ready for a substantive conversation and have the support of Western powers,” he said.
“They (Kosovo) are fully supported by Great Britain and Germany,” Vucic said.
“They made two decisions. “One is about banning entry with ID cards, and the other is a decision with the sole purpose of ‘expelling Serbs from the north,’ to create a ‘new storm,'” he said.
“It is clear here that there is no dialogue and talks. There will be many problems. “We will always try to keep the peace, but this is not wanted by others, not only Albanians from Kosovo, but also their mentors,” said Vucic./KosovaPress
