At the meeting of the National Council of the Democratic Party, the chairman Lulzim Basha announced some changes that have to do with the direction of the Parliamentary Committees and the Bureau of the Assembly.
Basha informs that with a joint decision together with the Chairman of the Parliamentary Group Alfred Rushaj, they have decided that the leadership of the Group will pass to Mr. Enkelejd Alibeaj.
“Although Rushaj is not present at the meeting today for health reasons, I want to thank him for all the extraordinary work he has done during this period, and together we are working on a joint political project for the future, which helps and con ahead of the challenges that the DP has “, said Basha.
On the other hand, he proposed Agron Gjekmarkaj as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, for whom he asked the National Council to vote as the Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party.
The other changes that Basha will propose are related to the direction of the parliamentary committees and the Bureau of the Assembly, as follows:
-Chairman of the Health Commission: Grida Duma
Chairman of the Education Commission: Flutura Açka
-Deputy Chairman of the Law Commission: Dhurata Çupi
-Secretariat for Budget: Xhelal Mziu (secretary)
-Secretariat for Procedures, Voting and Ethics: Bledion Nallbati (member)
-Secretariat for the Status of MP: Dashnor Sula (secretary)
-Secretariat for Parliamentary Research, Library and Publications: Lindita Metaliaj (member)
