With regard to hate speech, both sides will engage in counter-propaganda measures that undermine bilateral relations. “The parties reaffirm their commitment to take action against hate speech and to jointly identify such cases in the inscriptions of public buildings and monuments, textbooks and curricula, as well as in the media.”

The third request concerns the Joint Commission on Historical Affairs, while the fourth request concerns the victims of the communist regime, and the Protocol obliges the Government of Macedonia to apologize for the repressions allegedly committed by the Yugoslav communist regime against its citizens. with Bulgarian consciousness.

VMRO-DPMNE: France’s proposal is unacceptable

Neither the Bulgarian-Macedonian protocol nor the French proposal has been unveiled in the Assembly, claims the chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee from the ranks of VMRO-DPMNE Antonio Milososki. According to him, the two documents are in the possession of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, but they are kept hidden from the deputies and the public.

“So far, Prime Minister Kovacevski and Foreign Minister Osmani have not submitted to the Assembly either the Bulgarian-Macedonian Protocol or the French proposal on the negotiating framework, although we have reliable information that both possess these documents and have participated in the drafting of the together with the Bulgarian government. “This non-transparency of the Government towards the Assembly contradicts the principle of accountability,” said Antonio Milososki.
