According to Gjiknur, the Democratic candidates are two divisions, which harmed the Democratic Party.
“Durrës does not have to turn into a battle over which of them will lead the Democratic Party. The citizens of Durrës are not interested in this. The citizens of Durrës are European citizens, they are calm people and they look at development.
A lot has been done in Durrës. Major earthquake problems were addressed. Who would do these? Only a government like that of Edi Rama. Rama and the Socialist Party showed that he has done a lot for Durrës and for all of Albania. Led by Ani, these projects and developments will continue. They are all in your interest”.
