There are some episodes that have made the fans of the Spanish team of Levante really believe that the gate of their team is protected by a ghost. Local media say that they have given her a name: they call her “White Lady”.
They recall for example the incredible case of Joaquin Correa when he lost an almost certain goal. The Atletico Madrid Argentine was only 3 meters away from the goal, the goalkeeper had fallen to the ground and he hits, but the ball goes too high.
In fact, this story has its origins in 2005, when the Portuguese Duda managed to carry out a super action on the field, but as soon as he approached the gate threateningly, he says that he suddenly saw a ghost, which made him stop and not hit him. . His move was so sudden that it surprised commentators as well.
The Portuguese managed to pass the Levante goalkeeper, but when he was in front of the empty net, he followed the ball back. Duda says that a shadow blinded him and practically did not let him mark. Fans link the ghost story to the sad event of 2003, when four fans died in a car accident while traveling to see their team.
