American actor Sylvester Stallone said today that he “keeps in his prayers” his colleague Bruce Willis after being diagnosed with aphasia.
The “Rocky” star posted a photo of himself with Willis on social media and wrote a message to the family of the “Die Hard” actor, even though the two had previously been involved in a public conflict.
“We did not meet yesterday, I pray for the good of you and your wonderful family…,” Stallone wrote, among other things.
Stallone, 75, and Willis, 67, starred together in a remake of The Expendables 2 action movie The Expendables 2. Willis would have had a role in his third series but had left after the financial negotiations from where the aforementioned conflict arose, according to the Page Six network.
Willis is believed to have been offered $ 3 million for four days of work, but he wanted $ 4 million. That’s why Stallone later wrote in 2013 that he would replace Willis with actor Harrison Ford (80-year-old Indiana Jones).
Willis himself later justified his departure for creative reasons rather than for payment, although he had previously admitted that he liked “making a lot of money.”
The two actors had agreed a year later, as Stallone confirmed the news on social media.
“I agree with BRUCE W,” write that November 2014. “A special boy, the fault was mine….”
Willis’s family announced yesterday that he could no longer act as a result of being affected by the degenerative mental illness of aphasia, which damages the speech and communication centers of the brain.
