Albanian Eugert Merizaj, who is accused of killing a 30-year-old Hamaand Ali Hussain, the father of two children in England, has appeared before the court where new details were made public. The crime is suspected to have happened for drug deals.
The incident happened on September 14, 2019 while the court stated that it was a parrot, who heard gunshots.
David Walker, the owner of the parrot has difficulty hearing and said he did not hear the shooting but the parrot came out shocked from the cage.
“Walker looked out of his window – he saw three men running, then another man in a white Toyota Hilux parked outside, then a fifth man came out of the house and closed the door.” the judge reasoned.
Three of the Albanian’s suspected accomplices, identified as Noza Saffari, Dorian Pirija and Qazim Marku, were found guilty of killing Hussain but released after a trial in January last year.
The fourth person convicted of murder is Anxelo Xhaferi, 25, but he was also acquitted of all charges.
The other three suspected members of the Albanian drug gang, Sajmir Dodoveci and Armando Marku and Daniel Kadiu, are on the run.
