The Conference of Presidents on Friday decided to accept the request for a motion for debate on price increases.
The conference, chaired by the Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, reviewed the request for a motion for debate, submitted by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Mr. Enkelejd Alibeaj, regarding the general increase of prices and taking immediate measures.
The conference decided to develop the motion for debate regarding the general increase of prices and take immediate measures in the plenary session of March 22, 2022.
The debate will last two hours.
Also, given the rise in prices in the country, the Democratic Party and the Re-establishment Group requested an interpellation with the Prime Minister, Edi Rama.
