A clan of wild monkeys have somewhat thwarted the holiday plans of a couple who wanted to relax in the hotel ‘jacuzzi’ this week in southern Thailand.
The couple had just returned to their hotel room at the luxury Krabi resort, hoping for a hot bath when they discovered the monkeys feasting in their bathtub.
They were surprised to see primates emitting characteristic screams as they bathed in the pool following each other.
The footage showed monkeys jumping from the fence inside the warm pool water having fun.
But despite their benevolent games they also caused damage by breaking a hotel window and the couple was forced to change rooms.
In the video posted on Facebookmonkeys are seen enjoying their new “toy”, swimming in the water and jumping on it from a nearby tree.
Vacationers who did not want to be named said it was not the hotel’s fault for the unauthorized entry of animals.
