A Volkswagen Sharon type car with license plate AA 156 HN moving on the Fier – Vlorë highway caught fire as a result of a malfunction in the engine.
Fortunately, the driver got out of the car after seeing smoke coming from the first part.
Firefighters have been notified and arrived at the place called “Kripa” where the car was completely engulfed in flames, they extinguished the flames but the car was completely burnt.
It was 4 o’clock in the morning today.

At around 04:00, on the Fier-Vlorë highway, a “Volkswagen” type vehicle with driver R. F caught fire while driving, causing only material damage.
Initially, it is suspected that the fire occurred as a result of a defect in the vehicle.
The investigative team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
