The Constitutional Court overthrew the Albanian Parliament by not dismissing the President of the Republic, Ilir Meta.
In a statement, the Constitutional Court announces that President Meta has not committed serious violations of the Constitution and that he will continue to hold the presidency until the end of his term, July 24, 2022.
After the Constitutional decision, the president’s advisor, Tedi Blushi, also reacted. In a Facebook post Blushi writes: ZERO SURPRISE for the Presidency! This issue should not have even started!
