The Department of Defense has announced that the US has begun additional training for the Ukrainian armed forces in Germany.
This exercise is based on training on radar systems and armored vehicles, which are part of the security assistance package that will be provided by the US.
“These efforts are based on the initial artillery training that Ukrainian forces have already received elsewhere, and also includes training on radar systems and armored vehicles that have recently been announced as part of security assistance packages.”said in a news release the Pentagon press secretary, John Kirby.
Kirby said Germany is a country used by the US to train Ukrainians outside their territory.
He also said most of the training would be conducted by the Florida National Guard, which had trained Ukrainians before positioning themselves outside Ukraine, before launching Russian attacks.
