The draw of the League of Nations, the last Uefa competition for national teams, has been thrown in Nyon, Switzerland.
Albania can be considered lucky, as it was ranked in a group of teams which it can defeat. Facing in June 2022 we will have Russia, Iceland and Israel.
While the Kosovo team was ranked in the group with Greece, Northern Ireland and the winner of the Cyprus-Estonia couple.
Albania has climbed to pot b while last season it was in pot c, where Kosovo is. In this tournament participate 55 teams divided into four pots a, b, c, and d.
The formula has not been determined yet how it will go towards the 2024 European to be played in Germany, while the Nations League matches for this edition will be played from June 1 and 2, 2022 to September 28, 2022.
The Nation League remains an important gateway for Europe for Albania, but also for Kosovo.
