The departure of Lionel Messi has made things worse for Barcelona, however even the Argentine star is not shining at the level of expectations of Paris Saint Germain, as the figures confirm a difficult period of adjustment.
When it comes to a player like him, the alarm goes off if he passes two games without scoring, however the Argentine star has found the net only once in the league, in 865 minutes of play, confirming that the adjustment has not been easy at all.
Of course in the championship Messi continues to do well, as he has scored 5 goals in the same number of matches, while in the league he has never found the net in the last 5 matches, which he has always started as a starter. Moreover, the Argentine star does not score in matches in the 7-month transfer, as he last scored on May 11 in a spectacular 3-3 draw in the Levante-Barcelona match.
Since then, all of Messi’s goals have been scored in matches his clubs have played as hosts, including those in the Champions League with Paris Saint Germain. Although the capital club “flies” in the championship, Messi’s figures are worrying, as he has scored less than everyone and 5 assists do not justify such a relationship with the goal.
