Russian President Vladimir Putin has landed in Tehran where he will hold talks with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During his trip, Putin will discuss the issue of wheat exports from Ukrainian ports and is expected to sign a joint statement with Raisi and Erdogan, according to the Kremlin.
Putin and his counterparts are also expected to discuss humanitarian aid for Syria.
Putin’s visit to Iran is his first trip outside the territory of the former USSR since the beginning of the occupation of Ukraine, his second in total.
