The Assembly will hold today the last plenary session for this year, where it is expected that the majority will approve the laws returned by the President of the Republic, Ilir Meta, related to the budget.
The Socialists will vote on the 2022 budget bill, the VAT law and the national tax law, returned by President Meta without the changes required by him.
Also, today is expected to be approved the decision of the Council of Ministers for some changes and additions to the budget of 2021 and the law to extend the deadline for obtaining the status of “Strategic Investment” until December 31, 2023.
The SP will also approve by a simple majority the law on co-government, returned by the President on the grounds that it violates constitutional principles. After today’s session, the institutions are expected to distribute the funds, according to the approved budget for 2022.
