The Court of Tirana this Thursday has given the right to the Municipality of Tirana, in the lawsuit that this institution, as a shareholder in the Tirana Football Club, has filed against the head of the Albanian Football Federation (AFF), Armand Duka.
Veliaj sued the leaders of the Albanian Football Federation for abuse of office, forgery of documents and computer network.
As a shareholder of the Tirana Football Club, Veliaj accused Ilir Shulku, acting Secretary General of the Albanian Football Federation, and Ardian Haçi, acting Secretary General of the Tirana Football Association, of manipulating the elections for the head of the Tirana Regional Football Association.
The ALF stated that the accusations of the Municipality of Tirana were related to an attempt to destabilize the election race.
Referring to the decision of the Court, all the decisions taken by the Tirana Regional Association and the claims of the ALF are rejected, by registering Eduard Prodan, who ran for the post of mayor.
