The Socialist Party is presenting some of the candidates who want to join the SP through the “MP we want” platform.
Present at this event are the mayor SP, Edi Rama, General Secretary Taulant Balla and the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.
Rama stressed that 1581 citizens have applied to join the SP team.
We have had 1581 applications from all over the country, citizens of every field of life. The process has gone through several stages. I am glad to meet some of them who will join our team. I have two colleagues who when they were young, became part of the national team. They came from two different paths to become part of our common path. Taulant Balla and Erion Veliaj are with me here. Taulant is another reason for the opening and selection of members of our team. This will show whether we will walk or get stuck in the pit of that policy that led us into the abyss. We have done much, much more than those who had this task before us but s‘we have done enough, as this mandate was broken in the middle by the earthquake and the pandemic. We have not spared in our efforts any day. “I myself have done my best at the top of all efforts by putting the flesh and soul in this task to deserve the honor you have done me with the trust you have given me.” said Rama.
