The autopsy of the body of American actress Lindsey Pearlman, which was found dead inside a vehicle in Los Angeles, has been completed, but the cause of her death remains a mystery, officials announced today.
Pearlman, 43, who starred in “General Hospital,” “Empire” and “American Housewife,” died Friday, the day her body was found inside a car in Hollywood, the Los Angeles forensic doctor said.
Pearlman’s body was examined by doctors who say they have not found a cause of death and are awaiting further examinations, spokeswoman Sarah Ardalani told the media.
They are seeking further investigations into the cause of death, in results that may take several weeks, Ardalani added.
Los Angeles police said earlier that Pearlman was last seen Feb. 13 when he did not return home until he was found dead in Runyon Canyon Canyon Park, a scenic favorite hiking spot.
Her husband, Vance Smith, said he was heartbroken.
Pearlman was found about 4 miles from her home in the East Hollywood apartment complex. Her neighbors Carlie Wilson and Chrissy McKay said they had seen her a few days ago walking the little dogs and looking angry.
“She looked tired, unlike the usual she was active and cheerful,” McKay said.
