At today’s meeting of the Municipal Council, the head of the Municipality Erion Veliaj announced another project that will start soon in the capital.
It is about the extension of the Lana River from the part of the Palace of Arrows to Kashar. Veliaj said that the families whose facilities are affected by the project, even if they are not legalized, will be compensated with as many square meters as they currently have.
“Today we approve what is called the reallocation plan and it is about 24 residential structures, with ownership certificates belonging to 26 families, the other 211 structures are on the land of the Municipality. They are on our land, but we are not evicting them. We are telling them: “Let us build the houses properly, so that Lana doesn’t take them in front, and enjoy the fact that you are on the edge of a super boulevard”, which continues with “Bajram Curri” and “Gjergj Fishta” boulevards. , and meanwhile it is state land. We will not leave them without a home, they will take as much as they have, but we will continue to urbanize Tirana. There are 9 structures that are still in the process of verification and 71 plots of land, some smaller and some larger”, stated Veliaj.
The Mayor underlined that the work in the city will continue even though the saboteurs will continue to obstruct. “As you know, we received a loan from the European Investment Bank.
