The decision of the board is binding on all operators operating in the hydrocarbon sector in the country and in case of violations found by the authorities for companies that avoid it, fines will be applied until the license is revoked in case of repetition according to government normative act. which has already taken effect after publication in the Official Gazette the day before.
The price of oil, meanwhile, has continued to fall in international markets. This Tuesday it fell below the level of 100 dollars per barrel, much lower than a week ago when its price jumped to 130 dollars per barrel, while a decline was also observed for the price of gas.
