The Top Channel television crew on Saturday afternoon managed to leave Kiev International Airport, heading to Istanbul. They are expected to arrive in Albania in the late evening.

From Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, to the trenches on the “war” front in the east of the country, Top Channel television cameras closely and day by day touched on the anxiety and fear of escalating the situation on the ground.
Earlier, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs called on all Albanian citizens living in Ukraine to leave the country as soon as possible, and warned not to travel in its direction.
The call of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is due to the situation on the border between Russia and Ukraine, where as clarified through a press release, there is a ‘credible risk of escalation of the situation’.

Northern Macedonia and Montenegro have also called on their citizens to leave Ukraine temporarily.
Other countries such as the US, UK, Norway, Germany, Lithuania, Denmark and Israel have made the same call for their nationals.
Meanwhile, the US Embassy in Tirana has posted on its official Facebook page the speech of the White House National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, who calls on all US citizens in Ukraine to leave the country in the next 24-48 hours.
