So far there are over 2.2 million people who have fled to escape the war.
“Some of those fleeing Ukraine have already fled Poland, but migration expert at the University of Warsaw, Prof. Maciek Duszczyk, estimates that about 1.2-1.3 million refugees remain.“, According to the BBC.
Since the start of the war more than 300,000 people have entered Ukraine via Poland, regardless of the situation.
The war in Ukraine has been going on for five weeks, increasing the number of victims and injured every day.
Despite the talks, no agreement has yet been reached between Russia and Ukraine.
Many countries have shown solidarity with Ukraine but this has not affected Russia’s withdrawal.
