A British woman recently told how she was attacked and her mobile phone was stolen by two rude door guards who told her she was “too ugly” to be allowed to enter the bar.
Claire Sidebottom, 39, began filming the two Bar Rogue door guards in Manchester in northern Britain when they stopped her from “looking at her” after initially telling her she was drunk.
They then grabbed him by the belt of the bag and dragged him behind security barriers where they laughed and mocked him.
During the incident in downtown Manchester in February last year the woman was pushed by guards and lost her cell phone 800 800.
In Manchester court today, 33-year-old Christopher Cash pleaded guilty to robbery, assault and possession of a firearm, and was ordered to pay Miss Sidebottom ë 1,000 in damages.
While the second guard involved in the event died suddenly before the charges were filed.
After the verdict, the mother of one child, Sidebottom, said: “I am happy that this man was convicted, although I swear it is not enough. He was a gatekeeper, to protect people and not to beat, ridicule or rob them. “
“Now I can not go out on the grass without being afraid that the guards will hurt me. That man took my cell phone where I had family photos that I will never have again.
Prosecutor Andrew Evans said: “The accused was on guard duty and they barred the accuser from entering because she was drunk, and a dispute arose between them.”
“During this time, the accuser says that one of the guards told her that she was too ugly to go inside and recorded the images with her mobile phone, but the camera was not found.”
Sentencing, Judge Daniel Prowse told Cash: “You were the first to come to her and pull her, you stole her cell phone and gave it to someone else to disappear with her for fear of the footage being taken. “You abused your duty.”
